Wayward Coffee Co.

Wayward started as an idea of creating a coffee company that puts people and community first. We wanted to be a place that anyone can come to and ultimately feel welcomed and inspired. We started making coffee for people in Dallas in the Summer/Fall of 2019 via Floyd, our 1975 VW bus which was our mobile setup in the Bishop Arts District. We loved what we were doing and felt that it was something special and very needed in the Dallas coffee scene, so we began looking for ways to open a brick & mortar in the Spring of 2020.

We found the perfect spot in Northwest Oak Cliff and we started building the shop we’d always dreamed of creating, with the help of some amazing friends. We strive to provide quality coffee for all people, with Cat & Cloud from Santa Cruz, CA as our main roaster, as well as featuring and rotating through various guest roasters from all over the world. We’re here to bring unique culture and foster community in DFW in any way we can, whether that be through the drinks we make, the conversations we have, or the experiences we help create for people. We put people over profit, and we’ll always value our team more than anything else. We’re so stoked to be doing something new and exciting in our city, and we can’t wait to have you along for the ride.
